Email might seem like it’s *SO* 2007, but it still is the most powerful marketing tool there is. Hands down.

Here are some facts, if you don't believe me....

  • According to the data, 81% of small businesses still rely on email as their primary customer acquisition channel, and 80% for retention (Emarsys, 2018).

  • For every $1 you spend on email marketing, you can expect an average return of $42 (DMA, 2019).

  • Sending three abandoned cart emails results in 69% more orders than a single email (Omnisend, 2018). This type of ecommerce email is one of the most effective for boosting revenue.

  • When looking at the frequency with which consumers would like to receive brand emails, 49% (Statista, 2017) of consumers said that they would like to receive promotional emails from their favorite brands on a weekly basis.

When you communicate with your audience via email, you’re reminding them who you are and what value you can bring to them.

After all, you can’t guarantee that they’ll check social media the day of your exciting launch, but most people do check their email at least once a day. (And some of us have our email open constantly, but that’s a topic for another day…)

AND we don’t know when the Instagram or Facebook gods will -poof- be gone or say you can’t play in their sandox anymore.
