I have a photo shoot booked for tomorrow, and I can't wait!
We will be creating some new branded images to, ya know, keep the vision FRESH. 💯
I highly recommend you book a photo shoot at least two times a year to create enough content for your personal brand.
The digital landscape changes so rapidly, it is essential to have up-to-date, beautifully branded photos for your business.
I do have a small confession though. 🥲
I'm not always comfortable in front of the camera, to be real with you.
So, let me assure you that even the most introverted person can find a way to have pictures of themselves taken. 📸
A calming ritual I love to do when preparing for a branded photoshoot is 🧘🏼♀:
setting out all of my clothes (yes! multiple outfit changes, divas!) a few days before
making sure I have hair and makeup booked for the day
building a mood board in Pinterest that I share with the photographer ahead of time
purchasing and/or pulling small props
planning a shot list (including video for reels and b-roll!) ahead according to programs or promotions we have coming up
and most importantly, working with a photographer that I know can capture my essence while still making me feel relaxed, comfortable, and like I'm having FUN.
(side note: we offer this ritual as a service to our clients so they are fully prepared for their shoots and we creative direct them too! So fun!) 🙌🏼😍
So, any time you want to maximize your brand or really make hone in your brand image, trust me, it's a good idea.

Start your holiday promotions early so that people can get cozy with your offering, check it off their list, and move on their holly, jolly way before the holiday hustle!

BONUS: make sure you are emailing and posting on Thanksgiving Day (pre-scheduled, of course). That’s the day most physical stores are closed and the tryptophan will be running high. Things might feel a little stagnant, mundane, or even trite. Spice up your work week and stimulate your mind by trying a new co-working space or making your work routine a little more rewarding.
