Do you do the same thing day after day, week after week?
I know especially with the pandemic I was hearing a lot of people saying they were tired of staring at the same 4 walls every day.
One of the things I’ve learned while traveling through Europe is how important it is to TRAVEL!! I’m not expecting you to be able to fly to Italy and France right now, but that doesn’t mean you can’t create a new experience.
I don’t care if it’s going to the next town over or you just take a different street home from the coffee shop today. Get out of your routine, see something new!
It’s really hard to come up with creative ideas, new concepts, new solutions to things if you are constantly doing the exact same thing every single day.
Seeing new things, getting out of your routine, going new places, allows you to meet new people, possible new connections, and possible new business opportunities.
Another thing I learned while being on this trip is I found that I was getting work done in 1 ½ hrs that normally took me 4-5 hour workdays!
How?
Because I have only allotted myself 1 ½ to work each day, so I can go enjoy my travels!
This made me clean up my thinking, dilly-dallying, and say, “What is the most important thing that needs to get done today to move the needles forward in my business? What else can be delegated?”
Thirdly, what I realized was that we are in the era of being more you, and the more authentic you show up in your business and for your teams, and the way you do business, the more successful you are going to be.
People can smell BS a mile away. If you’re hiding parts of yourself and you’re just trying to push and masculinely strive and struggle, it’s not going to work. You have to be willing to flow into what is flowing. (If that makes sense!)
The more YOU, you are, the more impact you have.
Those are some of the things I learned while traveling Europe! So travel is a VERY good thing, outside of eating gelato, and pasta, and beurre blanc sauce :)
