I wanted to share with you 3 things that are often overlooked in business...
1. Leadership:
If you are a business owner… everything starts and stops with you. So taking 100% responsibility for where your business is and where it is not. I know that can feel like a tough pill to swallow but from this place you can get into action.
If an employee isn't performing, it only means you haven't had the right conversation with them to find out where the block is or you may have not hired the right person,
If your revenue isn't where you want it to be, you need to have a real conversation with yourself about your profits and loss. Really know the numbers. And be asking how and what your customers really need. How are you providing more excellence and value for them?
2. Innovation: You need to constantly be innovating. Asking every day how can what I provide be refined and made easier? What in my industry will become obsolete and the next 2 to 5 years and what am I doing right now to be ahead of the game? So many industries are being disrupted by technology. Take advantage of all of these tools. Think outside of what you've been taught and told… which requires you to... 3. Listen & Don’t Hesitate:
I've been deep diving into this myself lately. Business owners get too close and don't pull back and listen or… and this is a biggie… you get an intuitive hit and you know it's good and then you ignore it. Lastly your audience is telling you exactly what they want. You have to listen. So listen to yourself and listen to them.
