I can't believe we're already halfway through September, which means Q4 is just around the corner and we have three months - 3.5 months - left of the year.
Let's give it to ourselves to make the rest of this year really count.
But I'll be honest, I'm more nervous about what's happening this coming weekend for me.
I - crazy or not, don't know — signed up for a triathlon.
Okay. Crazy. That’s what I thought.
But I have to be honest, I'm only doing a relay.
So, I'm doing it with two friends of mine and I'm doing the biking portion, and before I started training for the triathlon, I hadn't ridden a bike in like over eight years! 😳
I've thoroughly enjoyed the challenge, the working out, doing something old but new, and that's where all my focus and attention is this week. (Other than on my beautiful, wonderful clients, of course.)
It's fun to build a business, and the life and freedom, where you can do super fun things like participating in a triathlon, maybe next year I'll do the whole thing.
Don't hold me to it.

My biggest fear is falling while I'm on the bike and taking out others with me... meme potential.

Here are some ways you can reset for the rest of the year:
🌹 Take Inventory - you don’t know what needs to improve until you take stock of the current state of things. Have things been slipping through the cracks? Why not let us help you with the day-to-day so you can get ahead on the things that matter most?
🌹 Tweak Expectations - After taking a look at where your business is and making note of how that aligns (...or not) with your original business goals for the year, it’s super important to prioritize and reset your expectations. Maybe your goals weren’t met (we could help with that!), but what can realistically get done in the next four months? There’s absolutely nothing wrong with pivoting. In fact it can increase your cash, if you do the RIGHT things.
🌹 Get Out There! - No freeze response allowed. Once you do the above two, time to get into action. Be honest with yourself (and clients!) about what the next four months are going to look like. And start moving... Make sure you’re not biting off more than you can chew, and set yourself up for success by outsourcing the things you don’t need to manage directly (ehh..hmmm... your branding and marketing).
