I realized there are some new people here and I wanted to share a little bit more about myself.
I am the youngest in my family and I often fell under the shadow of my all star athlete brother.
So instead of feeling sorry for myself because the spotlight was not on me, I’d immerse myself in school. I loved having assignments and diving into my studies.
My childhood wasn't all butterflies and rainbows, to say the least. I often felt VERY different than the rest of my family. No one ever talked about following your dreams or aspiring to your greatest potential.
If I was a “good girl” then everything would be okay.
But, sometimes there just wasn't a lot of love in the room.
It was more of settle for what you can get atmosphere. Can you relate?
I got outta there as soon as I turned 19 and I’ve taken care of myself ever sense.
I wasn’t raised to speak up.
I wasn’t taught to value myself.
I wasn’t taught that I deserved the very best.
I wasn’t taught to shine my light so bright it didn't matter what the haters were saying.
It wasn’t until I sought out mentors, surrounded myself with people “who got it”, and upleveled my environment that this ALL changed for me.
It took work, some deep acceptance and tenacity... but...
I made more money, had better connections, and I was just, well, happier!
I had to seek that life out.
MY GOODNESS am I grateful for those that show me what a joyful, fulfilling life is. I am grateful for these balls of light every damn day.
And I can honestly say I have never been happier in my life than I am right now.
What does this have to do with you?
I just want you to know that, even if you’ve been in business for awhile, you probably have more stuck inside you that is DYING to come out.
I want you to know that I BELIEVE IN YOU and your vision.
What you know... the magic in you, isn't commonplace. People need your gifts. They need to know about you. People need your energy, friend.
You may think everyone knows what you know. NOT TRUE!
So, today, remember, at the very least, that what you provide through the vehicle of your business cannot be duplicated. You bring something that no one else has.
