If you’re still not turning your audience into buyers like you want to... do this:⁣

⁣

You can’t please all the people. The problems that need to be solved for a lawyer are different from the ones that need to be solved for a beauty brand. ⁣

⁣

Narrow down your niche. ⁣

⁣

You want your ideal client to read your newsletter, see a social media post, go to your website and think... wow, this company knows EXACTLY how I FEEL and what I need to get out of x, y, and z problem I am facing. ⁣

⁣

I can hear you say, ā€œBut... I could really help everyone!ā€... no dear, you will spin your wheels and lurch to your goals. When you narrow you use the language, stories, pain points, and solutions that your audience aligns perfectly with. ⁣

⁣

For example, if you ā€œhelp entrepreneurs with their business.ā€ Narrow that down to I help mom entrepreneurs balance business, kids, and life so they can consistently feel successful in all three. ⁣

⁣

Do you see the difference?⁣

⁣

If you’re still not sure how you want to niche down, think back to your three most favorite clients that you’ve ever worked with. ⁣

⁣

• What were their main concerns when they first started working with / buying from you? ⁣

• What things do all three have in common?⁣

• What did they already have in place before working with you? ⁣

• How did you improve their lives?⁣

⁣

You can also interview these three people to get even more first hand knowledge. Pay attention to what words they are using. They might say I felt stuck and ashamed. Where you’ve been using the words aligned and powerful this whole time when it’s not a state they can relate to! Start using their words. ⁣

Lastly, stop being too vague. ⁣

⁣

If you’re a nutritionist, to say you’ll help someone get healthy in the new year - is not enough. Any Jane could say that. Get specific like I help you to improve your gut health in 90 days or less or we can balance your hormones and get you sleeping better in just 3 weeks. ⁣

Don’t be afraid to be bold. ⁣

⁣

When you talk in your own voice (versus trying to sound smart) and your messaging is targeted – then you will be a magnet for your ideal client and they will feel like you are talking directly to them. ⁣

⁣

That’s what gets engagement. That’s what gets sales. That’s what gets people talking about you and referring you. ⁣

⁣
