DesignKREW is a digital marketing agency that serves successful lifestyle brands that are looking to expand their reach. 


The Operations + Marketing Manager will report directly to our CEO, Jessica. This role is perfect for an energetic, confident, and detail-oriented digital marketer and copywriter who knows and loves all things systems, operations, and processes! This isn't for the dabbler. We are looking for someone who is committed and ready to help create great things. 


The Operations + Marketing Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, and managing processes to keep projects running smoothly and supporting the execution and delivery of services for our growing portfolio of clients.

The position requires a sharp eye for detail, strong organizational and communication skills, an intuitive ability to anticipate and meet needs, the ability to establish great rapport with the team and clients, build professional relationships, and experience in managing both teams and project deliverables.

  • Bonus points if you have experience writing copy for various marketing efforts, including blogs, email newsletters, as well as meeting minutes, etc.

  • Will work on multiple client accounts


Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the designKREW operations strategy vision 

  • Manage the team and ensure timely completion of projects by tracking progress in the agency’s project management system (Asana) and checking in with team members daily. 

  • Come up with new ideas and a plan when you notice something that could be improved or “smoother”

  • Support team in coordinating daily deliverables and receivables – including facilitating client-facing feedback. 

  • Facilitate weekly meetings with the CEO and team members, take notes, and ensure projects are on track and accounted for in the project management system.

  • Work closely with the CEO to provide project/team updates, evaluate the efficiency of current processes, and present ideas to promote business growth.

  • Establish and implement systems to facilitate team processes and ensure an exceptional client experience.

  • Serve as the main liaison between CEO, team members, clients, and outside parties.

  • Assist with the onboarding process for new clients and team members.

  • Adhere to agency processes, procedures, and best practices.

  • Communicate with the team via Slack and Asana

  • Available to work and respond to Slack messages and emails M-F between 9 am and 5 pm PST (some flexibility can be discussed)

  • Problem-solve and look for solutions before asking the team questions 

  • Meet with the team weekly on Zoom


  • An operations + marketing ROCKSTAR who has experience showing exemplary client-facing and project management experience in the marketing industry, trustworthiness, and a problem-solving, detail-oriented nature

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications (or related field); or equivalent work experience

  • 1-2 years experience working within a digital marketing agency setting

  • Advanced understanding of digital marketing, branding, advertising, social media, and website design

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal form

  • Experience with project and team management

  • Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines within a fast-paced, remote environment

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong work ethic, positive, self-motivated, health-oriented, energetic, outgoing, and reliable

  • Fluent in English

  • Able to handle multiple tasks and clients for a creative agency

  • Hours are flexible but a consistent schedule is needed and work hours will need to fall between M-F 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. PST

  • Experience using Asana and Slack a must

  • Include the word pineapple in one of the answers in the application

  • Worked remotely previously

  • Willing to undergo a paid trial task 

  • Willing to have an initial 3-month paid trial period

  • Tech-savvy, preferably with:

    • Asana

    • Slack

    • ConvertKit

    • Zoom

    • Dropbox

    • Google Suite

    • Stripe

    • Working knowledge of platforms such as Wix, Squarespace, Kajabi, Convert Kit.
