for Creative Agency
(Remote)

Hi! I’m Jessica Krewson, the CEO of designKREW. We are a fast-growing branding and marketing agency that serves successful brands. We are expanding our reach into new industries and are looking for a copywriter to serve our internal and client copywriting needs. Some of our current clients are in the following industries: Healing and coaching, beauty, soul-based programs, high-end childcare, acting, and more!

 

I am looking for someone who is eager to be an active part of our amazing team and is both a big-picture creative thinker and capable of ironing out the small details. 

 

In short, I’m looking for a wordsmith that will help support us and our clients as we continue to grow. 

 

In this role, you will both handle weekly tasks like writing blog articles and newsletters, as well as bringing large projects to life, like websites, sales pages, and email campaigns. I’m looking for someone who wants to be involved in the big picture – not someone who wants to work in a silo. 


This role is a part-time, remote, contractor position. We will start out at 5-10 hours a week, but I anticipate that we’ll grow beyond that in the future. This is the perfect opportunity for a copywriter who is looking for steady work with a growing company. (Plus, I think we’re pretty cool!)

PROJECT MANAGER:

Part time, Remote​

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Brainstorm, write, and edit all copy projects for designKREW and our clients 

  • Help develop and adhere to client voice and tone guidelines

  • Work with the Creative Director (that’s me, Jessica) to plan out creative campaigns and implement all of the copy and content writing 

  • Review all work for grammar and spelling, as well as adherence to the brand voice

  • Website copy

  • Landing page copy

  • Sales page copy

  • Email copy 

  • Weekly newsletter copy 

  • Monthly blog writing

  • Press release copy 

  • Attend weekly meetings with the Krew 

  • Potentially attend meetings with clients to understand their brand voice 

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the success of all projects 

  • Deliver copy and content in a timely manner, and honor all deadlines

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • You are a lover of words who not only has the creative chops but a deep knowledge of marketing strategies as well

  • You understand and have experience with online marketing and digital marketing strategy (program launch campaigns, sales pages, landing pages, etc)

  • You are a creative thinker who isn’t afraid to share ideas with the team 

  • You are able to take ownership of all projects you are responsible for, without needing to be micromanaged 

  • You are committed to your craft and are not just writing as a hobby 

  • You love working on a team, have a positive can-do attitude, and love to empower others 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This is a remote position. Our team is all over the United States. A good, reliable internet connection is necessary, but you can do your work wherever. We do not have physical office space.
